Membership is annual, and is renewable the first of each year. To renew your membership or become a new member, select your membership type below. You may also download the membership form here and return via mail or email.
A primary general farm membership is open to all dairy operations, custom growers, or any other business enterprise specifically raising calves and/or heifers. This membership is held in the farm or corporation's name and can include four additional named-members that are family members or employees of the named membership.
Allied professional membership is offered to veterinarians, nutritionists, academia, consultants or other individual industry professionals wishing to be involved and informed of the Dairy Calf & Heifer Association. Allied professional members are vested with all privileges and rights of full membership, including voting privileges.
Company membership is offered to supporting industry companies and organizations that wish to have only selected employees enrolled as members, or which have a very small employee base. This membership is held in the company's name – and will be listed as such, though only one designated individual per membership will receive membership rights and privileges. In the event that a company has more than one individual member in good standing, only one specifically-designated member shall be entitled to vote. However, all individual company members shall be entitled to all rights and privileges as described in the policies of the Dairy Calf & Heifer Association.
Corporate membership is offered to industry companies and organizations that wish to have multiple employees involved with DCHA. This membership is held in the organization's name. One, designated member contact should be provided, with additional sub-members provided at the discretion of the named Corporate Membership. Corporate members, and named sub-members (up to 15) shall be entitled to all rights and privileges as described in the policies of the Dairy Calf & Heifer Association. The named Corporate Membership shall be entitled to one vote. Additional corporate membership names provided (if exceeding the 15 maximum) will be included in all electronic correspondence and have full access to non-published membership materials.
Student membership is available to students of primary and secondary educational institutions, colleges, universities, two-year institutions, community colleges, graduate school and trade schools. To be eligible for student membership, the individual must be engaged in industry-related coursework, pre-work force engagement.
