(June 9, 2026) – Register your Spanish-speaking employees to attend the 2026 Dairy Calf & Heifer Association (DCHA) Vision & Training-Workforce program, set for Aug. 5, at the Ollie Liner Center, Plainview, Texas. This event, presented in Spanish, provides a platform for sharing best practices, peer learning, networking and unbiased industry expertise – some of DCHA’s core tenets. It is intended for calf raisers and producers who raise calves and heifers throughout the United States. This year’s DCHA Vision & Training-Workforce program kicks off with a tour of Midway Heifer Yard, Hart, Texas. Midway Heifer Yard raises heifers for client dairies from 1 day old until 21 months old. Calves are fed pasteurized whole milk from Blue Sky Farms dairies. By the time a heifer reaches 13 months old, she has been individually weighed at least four times.

- Building a High-performance Team in Calf Operations (Construyendo un Equipo de Alto Desempeño en el Área de Becerras) – Cecilia Rosas Goulart, Zoetis
- What’s in the Bottle Matters: Comparing Calf Milk Replacer and Waste Milk Feeding Programs (Lo que está dentro la botella importa: Comparando los programas de leche de reemplazo para terneros y los programas de alimentación con leche de desecho) – Julia Hamann, Actus Nutrition
The registration fee for this training program is $50 per registrant. All pre-registered participants will receive a diploma.
